Onramp Payments

Overview​

Onramp Payments let merchants create fiat deposit orders through API. The customer pays with fiat, and the merchant receives cryptocurrency funds in the Calypso account or, when supported, to an external crypto address.

Use this flow when you want to let customers pay by card or another fiat payment method while processing the integration through Calypso API.

Integration options​

Standard onrampCustomer pays with fiat, and cryptocurrency is credited to the merchant Calypso account.
External address onrampCustomer pays with fiat, and cryptocurrency is withdrawn to externalAddress, if the selected method supports it.
